This is just a place to save pictures of the Alsace "Double Angles & Cross" on stone monuments and the Iron Crosses.
I find at Maryhill and other cemeteries where the Alsace settlers migrated to such as, Maryhill (New Germany till 1940) in Woolwich. Also;
St. Clements in Wellesley Township and St. Agatha In Wilmont Township. also Mildmay, Formosa, Deemerton, & Carlsruhe, all in Carrick Townshop. Riversdale & Cheostow in Greenock Township. The plan is to put these pictures in a paper I am working on covering the history of the various monuments and especially the Iron Crosses or "Tree of Life" Lebensbaums of the German-Alsatian Grave markers found in Waterloo Region and Bruce County cemeteries ; Ron Schmuck
